Happy Birthday Zack! Today you are 23! I can’t believe it! My precious boy is a grown man!

Zack’s not about a big party, so we had our usual dinner and then I made keto chocolate cake with raspberries and almond butter. It’s one of his favorite desserts. And that makes it a Happy Birthday Zack kind of treat.

Cards and cash and a text message wishing Zack well came from family. Jay and I plan to celebrate more with him on Saturday with a ferry ride. But September 17 is the real day.

After he ate his cake, I told Zack how much I love him and how happy I am that God gave him to me as my son. He beamed.
